Rosemary M. Myers, age 88, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:08 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., where she was a patient.
Mrs. Myers was a licensed practical nurse and worked as a fundraiser with the Michigan Department of Aging. She earned her pilot’s license in 1940, during the war years.
Rosemary was born on July 26, 1922, in White Pigeon Township, a daughter of Herbert and Isabell (Clark) Fage.
Surviving are her children, Larry (Phyllis) Kahila, of Sturgis, Mich., Gary (Lee Ann) Walton, of Boca Raton, Fla., Cindy (Bob) Stanton, of Bryan, and Penny (Dan) Kautz, of Tucson, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Ron Kahila, her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, from 5-7: p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, in the funeral home, with Reverend Dwight Bowers officiating. Graveside service for Mrs. Myers will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Williams County Humane Society.
