Dorothy M. Slack of Lindsay, Okla. passed from this life on Tuesday evening, Oct. 12, 2010 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 86. Dorothy was born in Danville, Ill. on July 21, 1924. She was married to the late Boyd Slack who passed away on Oct. 28, 1983.
Dorothy was a member of the Lutheran Church. She moved to Lindsay, Okla. from Three Rivers in 1994. Dorothy was retired from Daco Corporation as a factory worker. She had a love of gardening and also enjoyed reading.
Mrs. Slack is survived by one daughter, Brenda Maxwell and husband Tim of Lewisburg, Tenn.; one son, Mike Slack and wife Deana of Lindsay, Okla.; two grandchildren, Amy Clark of Lewisburg, Tenn. and Jamie Maxwell of Galesburg along with three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Slack was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Slack, and her parents, Harvey and Sadie Shuman.
