Evelyn Marshall, 94

Evelyn Vinzola Marshall, age 94 of Centreville, died Friday Oct. 8, 2010 at the Three Rivers Health Hospice Suite. She was born in Waupaca, WI on March 19, 1916 the daughter of Vance and Palma (Knutson) Mitchell, and attended schools in Wisconsin. She was married to Leslie Lincoln Marshall on Aug. 4, 1935 in Iron Mountain, MI. She lived in Northern Wisconsin and the Chicago area before moving to St. Joseph County 30 years ago. Evelyn was a homemaker who greatly enjoyed caring for her family. She was a student of the Bible and was a member of the World-Wide and later the United Church of God. 

Evelyn is survived by 5 children and their spouses, Richard (Linda) Marshall of N. Aurora, IL, Robert (Dorothy) Marshall of Three Rivers, Judy (Bill) Swanson of Bernstadt, KY, Sally (Robert) Einersen of Oak Grove, KY, and Candace (Allen) Hochstetler of Centreville; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; a brother, Gorden Mitchell of Merrill, WI; a sister, Delores Anderson of Melrose, WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by 5 siblings, Muriel Mitchell, Vernal Mitchell, Irene Zastrow, Lorraine Mitchell, and Margie Erickson.

 Cremation has been conducted. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 12, 2010 at the New Hope Assembly of God, 56652 Buckhorn Rd., Three Rivers, MI 49093 with Rev. Lambert Greer, Pastor of the Living Church of God in Louisville, KY officiating. A private interment of ashes will take place later in Wisconsin.
