Mary Eloise Miller, age 90, of Burr Oak, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Birch Adult Foster Care Home in Leonidas.
Mary was born July 17, 1920, in Burr Oak, a daughter to the late Marie (Kane) Hagelgans.
Mary had lived all of her life in Burr Oak, graduating from Burr Oak High School with the Class of 1937.
On July 17, 1937, she married Edward D. Miller. He preceded her in death in September 1989.
Mary was a homemaker and had also worked for the former Kirsch Company of Sturgis and former Rubber Products in Burr Oak.
Mary enjoyed canning, old furniture and loved time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Phoebe) Miller of Burr Oak and Edward (Sue) Miller of Irons; grandchildren, Penny (Jerry) Waltke of Burr Oak, Michelle (Kevin) Wells of Bristol, Ind., Andy (Sandy) Miller of Muskegon; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Miller, Justin Strieder, Erin Waltke, Ryan Waltke and Carson Wells; one sister, Debra Wells of Sturgis; and one special aunt, Pauline Kane and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother Robert Hagelgans.
There will be no visitations or services, cremation has taken place. Private interment of ashes will be in Burr Oak Cemetery.
