Roger Lee Gillison, 45, of White Pigeon, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind.
He was born Sept. 22, 1965, in Elkhart, Ind.
Surviving area son, Russell C. Schenk of Constantine; his mother, Charlotte Gillison of Elkhart; three sisters, Peggy Snyder of New Paris, Ind., and Irene Gangwer and Penny Banwrren, both of Elkhart. Also surviving are his companion, Patti Kucinich of White Pigeon; and four brothers, Art, Ron, Bob and Billy Gillison, all of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur D. Gillison.
Roger was formerly employed by Accra Pac in Elkhart. He enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, playing full pitch softball and was an avid Notre Dame fan.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Porter Baptist Church in Constantine. Pastor Bob Lapine will officiate the service. Cremation will take place. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family of Roger Lee Gillison.
