Lucretia L. Goodlock, age 82, of Stockbridge, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at her home.
She was born Jan. 26, 1928, in Rollin Township, one of 13 children of Porter and May (Stevens) Beal. She had lived in the area since 1963, coming from Lenawee County.
She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Mason, as well as singing in the choir.
On Feb. 20, 1949, she married Marion C. Goodlock, and he preceded her in death in 1988.
She was a former Bunker Hill Township supervisor for eight years, was co-owner of Marlu Ag Services in Leslie, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was a master gardener.
Surviving are four children, Bruce (Barb) Goodlock of Texas, Craig (Laurie) Goodlock of Stockbridge, Heidi (Roger) Herrick of Illinois and Lance (Julie Stone) Goodlock of Sturgis; seven grandchildren, Tobin (Jenny) Goodlock, Stephanie West, Aaron Goodlock, Jacquelyn Goodlock, Sadie Herrick, Audra Goodlock and Mason Herrick; one great-grandson, Asher Goodlock; one brother, R. Daniel Beal of Hudson; and one sister, Portia (Richard) Coury of Florida.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers; six sisters; and one grandson.
Funeral services were held Saturday at First United Methodist Church of Mason, 201 E. Ash St., Mason, with the Rev. Dwayne E. Bagley officiating. Burial was at Fitchburg Cemetery.
