Marissa R. Spooner, 31, beloved daughter of Frank Cipriano and Nancy (Walter) Watson, sister of Joseph Cipriano and loving mother of Abigail Butler, passed away November 8, 2010 at Battle Creek Health System.
She was born March 9, 1979 in Kalamazoo and graduated from Three Rivers High School. She married Jeffery Spooner on January 27, 2006 and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2009.
Missy was a long haul truck driver, loved reading, movies and computer games.
In addition to her daughter, parents and brother, Missy is survived by maternal grandmother, Daisy Bobb and paternal grandmother, Ruth Cipriano as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial luncheon will take place 1 p.m., November 20, 2010 at Country Acres Mobile Home Village (2300 Barney Rd., Kalamazoo, MI. 49004). Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home.
