Frances E. Curtis, age 80, of Three Rivers, died Sunday Dec. 26, 2010 at Riverview Manor in Three Rivers. She was born in Lansing Township, MI on Dec. 15, 1930 the daughter of Finnis D. and Ione I. (Bovee) Ballard. She was married to Clifford Curtis on Sep. 3, 1955, and was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and crafts.
Frances is survived by 2 sons, Jon L. (Susan) Curtis of Ann Arbor and Mikel J. Snyder of Portage; 2 daughters, Shelley Snyder of Albuquerque, NM and Rebecca (Steven) Smith of Beaverton, OR; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, I. Jean (Clifton) Brown and Carol (Barry) Green both of Florida; a brother, Clifford James (Bobbette) Devine of Webb City, MO; brother in law, Herbert Whitehurst of Vicksburg; and sister in law, Patsy Ballard of Bremen, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Edna Whitehurst; and a brother, Ralph Ballard.
