Debra Aumack, 46

Debra Traci (Daugherty) Aumack, 46, of White Pigeon, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at her home following an extended battle with cancer.

She was born Dec. 30, 1964, in Ypsilanti, a daughter of Fred and Sharon (Foster) Ellis. She was a high school graduate and attended Southwestern Michigan College. She had lived in the White Pigeon and Constantine area, coming from Dowagiac and Gaylord.

On May 7, 2007, she married Robert A. Aumack in Miami, Fla.

She was employed as the head cook in the kitchen at Constantine schools and was co-owner of Ron’s Auto and Wrecker Service. She enjoyed racing and camping.

Surviving are her husband, Robert A. Aumack of White Pigeon; her children, Bobbie Ann Stamper and Michael Aumack, both of White Pigeon, and Nathan (Rae Trine) Aumack of Sturgis; grandchildren Mason Aumack, and Jordan and Gavin Stamper, all of White Pigeon; brothers and sisters, Kim (Jack) Card, Robin Ellis of Gaylord, Bruce Ellis of Texas, Dawn (Adam) Cornwell of Dowagiac, Cindy (John) DelPonte and Mike (Diana) Mortenson of Constantine; father, Fred Ellis and mother Sharon Foster, both of Gaylord; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Shirley Ellis.

Cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at a later date. Relatives and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, where services are at noon Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Three Rivers Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
