Charles Joseph Krontz, seven-month-old son of Amanda Krontz of Three Rivers, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Three Rivers Health in Three Rivers.
He was born July 7, 2010, in LaGrange, Ind.
Charles Joseph is survived by his mother, Amanda Krontz, and her companion, Josh Jackson of Three Rivers; one brother, Michael Krontz at home; grandparents William and Candy Caldwell and Bill Caldwell, all of Sturgis; great-grandparents Chuck and Sharon Krontz of Pekin, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Scott; and Uncle Thomas Krontz.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hackman Family Funeral Homes — Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis. Funeral services celebrating the life of Charles Joseph Krontz will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Deb Johnson of the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis will officiate. Cremation will follow the services.
