Elizabeth Marie Sears, 25, North Old Madisonville Road, Crofton, Ky., died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., from complications of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on March 10, 2011, in Christian County, Ky.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton, conducted by the Rev. Barry Smith, with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, Ky. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
A native of Sturgis, born June 7, 1985, she is the daughter of Jack Louis Sears Jr. and his wife, Penny, of Nottawa, and Rose Burkholder of Atlanta. She had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiance, Micky Wicks; three sons, Brandon Michael Wicks of Hiram, Ga., Mathew Jacob Wicks and Alexander Wicks and a daughter, Morgen Rose Wicks, all at home; a brother, Christopher Burkholder of Goshen, Ind.; her paternal grandparents, Jack Louis Sears Sr. and Mary Lou Sears, also of Sturgis; maternal grandmother Catherine Burkholder of Elkhart, Ind., and Sue Yoder Burkholder of Nottawa.
She was preceded in death by her fraternal grandfather, Jake Burkholder.
