Theodore F. “Ted” Renner, age 78, of Schoolcraft, died Wednesday March 23, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born near Scotts, MI on July 2, 1932 the son of Theodore C. and Amanda M. (Marshall) Renner and has been a lifetime resident of this area. Ted worked in general construction and had been employed by Schoolcraft Foundry, Lash Construction, and Hoekstra Roofing. He also cut and sold firewood. He enjoyed fishing and visiting with family and friends.
Ted is survived by 4 children, Patsy (Cecil) McDowell, Teddi Renner, and Ricky Renner all of Three Rivers and Judy (Charles) Bigelow of Comstock; 16 grandchildren; 43 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Virginia Coleman of Three Rivers, Norma Davis of Martin, and Patricia Supablon of Iraq; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Taylor; 2 sons, Leonard and Terry Renner; a brother, Wesley Renner; and by 4 sisters, Myrtle Grandison, Amanda Hannah, Donna Stewart, and Betty Brown.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday March 28, 2011 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon with Pastor Kyle Foster of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
