Frances L. (Wolgamood) (Mercer) Rohrbacher, age 65, of Catawba, NC (formerly of Constantine), passed away Wednesday, April 6th, 2011 at her home following a long battle with cancer. She was born in Three Rivers on September 1, 1945, the daughter of Bob and Dorothy (Hull) Wolgamood. Frances graduated from Constantine High School in 1963 where she had been a cheerleader.
In December 2004, Frances married Jamie Rohrbacher in Newton, NC. She worked in Quality Control at Days Molding in Constantine for 26 years, retiring in 2006. She enjoyed gardening and antiques and loved her log home that she helped build in North Carolina.
Surviving Frances are her husband, Jamie Rohrbacher, Catawba, NC, mother Dorothy Schrock, Constantine, father Bob (Ruth) Wolgamood, Sr., White Pigeon, sons Mitchell (Tamara) Mercer, Three Rivers, Martin (Julie) Mercer, Catawba, NC, grandchildren Anthony Mercer, Hickory, NC, Brooke Mercer, Three Rivers, brother Robert (Judy) Wolgamood Jr., Constantine, half sisters Ellen Montgomery, Manistee, Tina Hossler, White Pigeon, and half-brothers Milo (Phyllis) Reiff , Constantine, Jerry Wolgamood, White Pigeon.
Private Graveside Interment Services were held at White Pigeon Township Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11th, with Pastor Marilyn Schlimgen of the First Congregational United Church of Christ officiating.
