Marie Phyllis White, 84, of Parkville, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Heartland Health Care Center following a brief illness. She was born on Nov. 22, 1926 in Parkville the daughter of Ralph and Jessie (Dee) Dentler.
Marie was united in marriage on June 2, 1962 to Mr. Raymond White who survives. She was employed at Dayco International and also owned and operated Auntie M’s Restaurant in Mendon for many years.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Connie Lynn Kaniewski; four brothers, Riley, Ted, Mike and Ray Dentler; two sisters, Opal Goldsmith and Lil Castle.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving family, husband, Ray White of Three Rivers; one son, David (Roberta) Lamb of Sherwood; son-in-law, Ed Kaniewski of Three Rivers; three grandsons, Brett and Andrew Lamb, Phil Feek; six great-grandchildren, Brayson Lamb, Griffin Lamb, Lucas and Brinley Lamb, Anthony and Benjamin Feek; sister, Dorothy Ward of Vicksburg.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 22 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor Ward Pierce of the West Mendon United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be held in Moorepark Cemetery.
