Gatha Marie Knepple, age 77, of Vandalia, MI, passed away Sunday, May 15th, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born in Constantine, on March 23, 1934, a daughter of Frank and Fannie (Hall) Caseman. On March 28, 1953 she married Roger Knepple in Constantine. Gatha enjoyed fishing, crochet and sewing quilts, playing Bingo and going to garage sales. She also was very active in Bowling as a member of many leagues in Three Rivers. Gatha also was a member of the Red Hat Society in Florida.
Surviving are her husband Roger Knepple Sr., daughter Ronda (Steve) McClain, son Roger (Penny) Knepple, Jr. all of Vandalia, sisters Beverly Jean Tuckey, Jones, Donna Caseman, Constantine, grandchildren Richard (Stacy) Knepple, Cassopolis, Niccole Nathan, Vandalia, Eric (Tracy) Knepple, Vandalia, Gt. Grandchildren Brock, Blake, Morgan, Paige, Miranda, Bryanna and Teagan. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Betty Adams and Vivian Willis and brothers Lloyd, Dale and Francis Caseman.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine where Religious Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Pastor Will Davis, Porter Baptist Church will officiate.
