Geri Webb, 84

Geraldine “Geri” Webb, 84, of Centreville, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011, at Fairview Nursing Centre.

Born Dec. 20, 1926, in Constantine, a daughter of Ray and Margaret (Gilson) Henry, she was raised by her uncle and aunt David and Opal Yoder.

Geri was married to Jack Clark from 1941 to 1969. She later married Maurice “Mauri” Webb on Nov. 17, 1996, in Three Rivers.

Geri worked as a waitress at Hillcrest in Sturgis, Continental Can in Three Rivers and as an independent truck driver. She also volunteered as a driver for social services and the COA. Geri enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of Centreville Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Mauri Webb of Centreville; a daughter, Ellen (Carl) Hull of Centreville; a son, Stan (Sharon) Clark of Three Rivers; a stepdaughter, Randi Webb of Three Rivers; stepsons Bret Webb of Wisconsin, Gordon (Debbie) Webb of Springport, Scott Webb of Three Rivers, and Kurt (Kris) Webb of Three Rivers; brothers Dick (Lois) Henry of Glen Arbor and Floyd Henry of Battle Creek; eight grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her Uncle Dave and Aunt Opal Yoder; a son, William Jack Clark; a daughter, Barbara Ann Clark; a sister, Lillian Parker; and a great-grandson, Derek Hull.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prairie River Cemetery in Centreville, with Pastor Harry Hartman officiating.
