Joshua Daniel Parsons, age 33, of Colon, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 2, 2011, at his home.
Josh was born July 19, 1977, in Coldwater, a son to Dan and Linda (Plushnik) Parsons.
Josh grew up in the Leonidas area and graduated from Colon High School with the Class of 1995.
On July 18, 2009, he married Ashley Gilbert in Naubinway.
He had worked in farming with VDS Farms Inc. of Scotts. He had attended the Sherwood Crossroads Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley Parsons of Colon; two children, Blane and Daisy at home; mother, Linda Bailey of Sherwood; father, Dan (Laura) Parsons of Colon; two brothers, Jesse Parsons of Colon and Nate Parsons of Tecoma, Wash.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. today at King Mill Park in Leonidas, with a dinner to follow at the Leonidas Grange Hall.
If desired, memorials may be made to the family.
