I don’t know where the month of April went, but for me, it was gone before I realized it was here. And talk about April showers! I won’t even get into that.
Diane, of Mobile Bike Repair, has come up with a great idea. She has organized Saturday morning bike rides. Starting this next Saturday, May 7, and continuing every Saturday during the month of May, everyone is invited to join her for a one-to-two-hour bike ride around the Three Rivers area. The group will depart Health TRAC at 9 A.M. and ride at an easy pace. Helmets will be required for all participants. The experience is FREE, and bad weather will be the only thing that would prevent the ride from happening. If you have questions, please call (269)816-8473.
It must be spring, because Trinity Episcopal Church, 321 North Main Street in Three Rivers, is having a rummage sale this Thursday and Friday, May 5 and 6. Thursday’s hours are from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M., and hours for Friday are from 9 A.M. until noon. Sale items include clothing for adults and children, toys, and household items. Friday is “Bag Day”, so each bag of items will sell for $1.
Everyone must be in the spring-cleaning mode, because there will be a “Mom-to-Mom” sale this Saturday, May 7 at Hoppin Elementary School on North Main in Three Rivers. The school covers the entire 400 block of North Main and is directly across the street from Lafayette Park. Anyway, the sale starts at 9 A.M. and continues until 2 P.M. in the school gym. On sale will be gently used infant, toddler and children’s items, plus maternity items. If you have items you’d like to sell, registration is only $20, and this reserves a table and space for your sale items. To register, or if you have questions, call Amy at (269)816-0376.
If you haven’t had the chance to give your family vehicle a good spring washing, then you’ll definitely want to consider taking it over to the Three Rivers Fire Department parking lot this Saturday, May 7. Boy Scout Troop 414 will “Be Prepared” to wash your vehicle from 9 A.M. until noon. It’s a perfect opportunity to get the family taxi all nice and shiny for taking Mom out to dinner on Mother’s Day.

They will greet everyone from 9 A.M. until 5 P.M. at Wal-Mart, Harding’s, and Walgreens in Three Rivers. When you see a Lion at any one of these locations, give from your heart. Next Sunday is Mother’s Day. Please do something special for your mother. After all, she is the one who gave you life.
See you Out and About!
