Rebecca Lynn Godfrey, 36, of Three Rivers, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Three Rivers Health. She was born on June 28, 1974 in California the daughter of Genevieve Johnson.
Rebecca has been a resident of this area for almost 20 years. She was employed at Aquatic Bathware, formerly Lasco Corp., where she recently obtained her bachelor’s degree. Rebecca enjoyed gardening and truly loved to spend time with her daughters and other family.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving family, husband, Mark Godfrey of Three Rivers; daughters, Maranda, Leiana and Kaia Wonders, all of Three Rivers; her mother, Genevieve Benson of Burr Oak; grandmother, Virginia Coleman, of Constantine; step-sons, Nick Godfrey, of Constantine, and Eric Godfrey, of Three Rivers; sisters, Bonnie Cooley of Bronson, Starr Campbell and Bambi Snyder, both of Sturgis, and Spring Siler, of Middlebury, Ind.; brother, Terrance Lee Snyder II of Sturgis; brother-in-law, Michael Godfrey of Jackson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, May 23 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Jon Deily officiating.
Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers.
Memorials may be donated to the Animal Rescue Fund (A.R.F.) of St. Joseph County. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
