Ronald Juday, 62

Ronald E. Juday, 62, of Mottville, died May 19, 2011, at his home following an extended illness. 

He was born April 13, 1949, in Sandusky, Ohio, a son of Marion L. and Rosemary (Grover) Juday. 

He served in Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force and had lived in Mottville for 35 years, coming from Union. 

On June 26, 1976, he married Frances R. Yoder in Mottville. 

He was a supervisor most of his life at Ace Hardware of Elkhart, Ind., Atwood Mobile Products, in the RV industry and at Lindahl Specialties of Elkhart, Ind. He was a member of Fairhaven Fellowship of Constantine and enjoyed yard work and had several hobbies. 

Surviving are his wife, Frances R. Juday of Mottville; son, Michael Juday of Muskegon; two daughters, Leilani (Nicholas) Riddle of Sturgis and Alisa Juday of Holland. He was Papa to two grandchildren, Haleigh Rose-Marie Riddle and Makayhla Elizabeth Riddle. Also surviving are his adopted daughter and her two children, Jamie (Bret) Sevener; four brothers, George (Darlene) Low of Ohio, Ben Juday of Elkhart, Ind., Dan Juday of Florida and Bill Juday of Elkhart; two sisters, Sharon (Bo) Sumrall of Florida and Cindy Juday of Elkhart; several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barb Nagey; and his biological mother, Marie Snyder. 

Relatives and friends may call from noon-2 p.m. Monday at Farrand Funeral Home of White Pigeon, where services are at 2 p.m. Monday, with pastor Bud Granger officiating. Burial will be in Mottville Township Cemetery. 

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
