Mary Bragg, 100

Mary E. Bragg, age 100, of Three Rivers, went to be with the Lord on Thursday June 30, 2011. She was born in Constantine, MI on June 26, 1911 the daughter of John F. and Alice E. (Lett)( Ash. She was a member of the Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church and the George Washington Carver Community Center. Mary was married to Wilmur Bragg in Angola, IN on Aug. 31, 1937. Wilmur died March 24, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and 5 brothers. Surviving are a niece, Alma Bell of Three Rivers; a nephew Rev. Reginald Haines of Atlanta, GA; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday July 6, 2011 at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow services and interment of ashes will take place later in Riverside Cemetery.
