Nancy Ann Tomlinson, 78, of Three Rivers, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Fairview Living Center in Centreville. She was born on March 26, 1933 in Pocahontas, Ark. the daughter of Edward N. and Hazel V. (Bates) Shivley Sr.
Mrs. Tomlinson graduated from Blytheville High School with the class of 1950. On June 4, 1950 she married the love of her life, Mr. Bobby E. Tomlinson. She was employed at Continental Can, Bob’s Men & Boys Wear, and as a clerk with the city of Three Rivers, until retiring in 1992.
Mrs. Tomlinson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory three children, daughter, Nicki L. Adams; two sons, Robert E. (Julie Lynn) Tomlinson and Dan W. (Amy Lynn) Tomlinson, all of Three Rivers; one sister, Marylynn Holloway of Texas; two brothers, Nick (Carolyn) Shivley of Arkansas and Von Shivley of Tennesee; three grandchildren, Kelsey Marie, Maggie Diane and Robert E. Tomlinson III; very special friends, Mike, Brenda, Aaron and Adam Fleckenstein, as well as Joe, Rhonda, Luke and Jordan Rider.
Per her request, cremation has taken place.
Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, July 29 at the Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers, with Pastor John Hill of the Newberg Norton Bible Church officiating.
Memorials may be donated to the Newberg Norton Building Fund. Envelopes available at the Hohner Funeral Home in care of her arrangements.
