Thelma Pauline Benson, 92, of Ossian, Ind. and formerly of Three Rivers, passed away late Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. She was born on July 7, 1919 in Flowerfield Township, St. Joseph County, the daughter of Arunah and Leda (Heartland) Gage.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, and her late husband, Eugene C. Miller, as well as one son, Ronald Miller.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory one son, Elston (Janet) Miller of Markle, Ind.; two grandsons, Michael Newman of Indiana and Zachary (Jennifer) Miller of Three Rivers; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
