Toni Tom, 58

Toni Kay (Hackler) Tom, 58, of Mendon, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Borgess Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She is now rejoined with her late husband James Quay Tom. She was born in Grand Rapids on Aug. 10, 1952 the daughter of Paul and Lucy (Kent) Hackler.

Toni was employed at Lear (I.A.C.) for many years and was currently employed by the Three Rivers Community Schools before becoming ill. Toni enjoyed being outdoors, her animals, and especially time with her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory three children, Kimberly (nee: Large) (Todd) Mangold of Sturgis, Jerimiah (Minde) Abnet of Three Rivers and Devin Abnet of Three Rivers; three step-children, Dave (Stacy), Mike and Andy Tom; one brother, Terry Hackler; two sisters, Judy (Aaron) Perkins and Linda (Larry) Kline; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor John McClimans officiating.
