Clarice Aletha Curry, age 94, of Three Rivers, formerly of Centreville, MI., passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Heartland Health Care Center. She was born in Hill City, Kansas on August 21, 1916 the daughter of Henry and Grace (Kirtley) Williams.
Clarice has been a long time resident of this area. She moved from Indianapolis, IN. in 1974 to Centreville and then to Three Rivers. In 1967 she married the late Joseph E. Curry whom preceded her in death in 1975. She was also preceded by her parents, three sons, Norman Curry, Joel Curry, and Gerald Curry; two sisters, Thelma Warren and Verta Valentine; two brothers, Carl and Ralph Williams; one nephew, Donald E. Anderson;.
Mrs. Curry has been a long time member of the Wood Street Church of Christ.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, one daughter, Yvonne (Curry) Binion, of Three Rivers; one son, Milton A. Curry, of Three Rivers; one god-daughter, Gloria (Mark) Cross, of Battle Creek, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Mr. Mike King of the Church of Christ officiating.
Interment will be held in Prairie River Cemetery, Centreville, MI.
