Clarice Aletha Curry, 94, of Three Rivers, formerly of Centreville, passed away on Monday, Aug. 1, 2011 at the Heartland Health Care Center. She was born in Hill City, Kan. on Aug. 21, 1916 the daughter of Henry and Grace (Kirtley) Williams.
Clarice has been a long time resident of this area. She moved from Indianapolis, Ind. in 1974 to Centreville and then to Three Rivers. In 1967 she married the late Joseph E. Curry who preceded her in death in 1975. She was also preceded by her parents; three sons, Norman Curry, Joel Curry and Gerald Curry; three sisters, Thelma Warren, Verta Valentine and Vera Williams; two brothers, Carl and Ralph Williams; one nephew, Donald E. Anderson.
Mrs. Curry has been a long time resident of the Wood Street Church of Christ.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory one daughter, Yvonne (Curry) Binion of Three Rivers; one son, Milton A. Curry of Three Rivers; one god-daughter, Gloria (Mark) Cross of Battle Creek; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Mr. Mike King of the Church of Christ officiating.
Interment will be held in Prairie River Cemetery, Centreville.
