Daniel Yoder, 38

Daniel W. Yoder age 38, of Centreville, died Aug. 11, 2011, near his home, from injuries he received in a farming accident.

Daniel was born April 29, 1973, in Centreville, a son to Willis and Fannie (Bontrager) Yoder.

Daniel had lived in St. Joseph County all of his life and was presently employed at Vanguard Industries in Colon. He also had worked on the family farm.

Daniel was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He is survived by his parents Willis and Fannie Yoder of Centreville; two brothers, Neal (Emma) Yoder of Centreville, Joe (Carolyn) Yoder of Topeka, Ind.; four sisters, Violet (Timothy) Hochstedler of Colon, Delilah (Amos Jr.) Hochstetler of Centreville, Irma (Owen) Hochstetler of Colon, and Susanna (Richard) Hochstetler of Centreville; one brother-in-law, Amos (Polly) Miller of Centreville; 28 nieces and nephews; and 32 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Miller.

The family will receive relatives and friends all day Saturday, at the Amos Jr. Hochstetler residence at 27217 Wasepi Road, Centreville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the Double M Community Building, 59321 Nottawa Road, Centreville, with bishops, Glen Yoder, LeRoy Borkholder and Sam Chupp officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Order Amish Cemetery, Centreville.

The family was assisted by Schipper Funeral Home in Colon.
