Madge Marks, 88

Madge E. Marks, age 88, died Sunday, August 28th, 2011 at Greencroft of Goshen. She  was born in Havelock, Nebraska. on January 12, 1923, a daughter of Monroe and Gertrude (Gibson) Best. Madge graduated from Bristol High School. On September 5, 1942 she married Donald Marks in Union, MI. He preceded her in death April 8, 2001.
Surviving are her daughters Phyllis (Karl) Hammond of Constantine, MI, Judith Marks of Mishawaka, IN, sons Jim (Grace) Marks of Oceola, IN, Gary (Marcia) Marks of Harrod, OH, Kenneth Marks of Mishawaka, IN,  8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and sisters Jane  (Frank) Hollingshead of Texas, Elsie Ervin of Florida, and Alice (Joe) Krallman of Wakarusa, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Mary Marks, 3 brothers and a sister.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine and from 10 to 11 am Thursday at Chapel Hill Missionary Church in Union, MI. where Religious Services will be held at 11 am. Pastor Don Matteson will officiate. Interment will be in the Plum Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Camp of Missionary Church or World Partners of Missionary Church.
