Mary E. Beechy, age 49, 3 Months, of Centreville, passed away, Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Mary was born May 3, 1962, in Medford, Wisc., a daughter to Eli M. and Clara (Mullet) Beechy.
Mary moved to Michigan in 2000, coming from Amherst, Wisc. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Mary is survived by her mother, Clara Beechy of Centreville; one sister, Sarah (Joe) Miller of Centreville; four brothers, Freeman (Edna) Beechy of Clare, Mich., Melvin (Rosa) Beechy of Medford, Wisc., John (Mattie) Beechy of Wadena, Minn., and Lavern (Viola) Beechy of Sturgis; 35 nieces and nephews; 69 great-nieces and nephews; six step-nieces and nephews and nine great-step-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eli M. Beechy on April 16, 2011; one nephew; and two great-nieces.
The family will receive relatives and friends after noon today and all day Friday, at the Double M. Building, 59321 Nottawa Road, Centreville. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 6, at 9:30 a.m. at the Double M Building, with Bishop Sam Lambright, and home ministers, Melvin Hochstetler and Levi Bontrager officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Order Amish Cemetery, Centreville.
