Maxine G. Minger Clark, 88, of Shelbyville, IL passed away at 4:00 AM Wednesday Aug. 3, 2011 in the Shelbyville Manor in Shelbyville, IL.
Maxine was born Sept. 15, 1922 in St. Joseph Co., MI the daughter of Howard and Elsie Culow Hendrixson.
She married Irvin Frank Minger on July 11, 1942 in Three Rivers, MI and he passed away Dec. 22, 1961. She married Donald Clark on Dec. 9, 1965 in Coldwater, MI and he passed away June 11, 1999.
Maxine was a loving homemaker for her family and, formerly, was employed at Wakeman House Restaurant in Mendon, MI for many years and Continental Can Co. in Three Rivers and Fisher Big Wheel Retail Store in Coldwater.
Surviving are her children: David H. Minger and wife Charlene of Eaton Rapids, MI, Darlene Clarey and husband Firmer of Shelbyville, Danny Minger and wife Sandy of Vicksburg, MI and Douglas Minger and wife Kathy of Three Rivers, MI; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; half sisters: Helen Hendrixson and Joyce Fuller; great grandchild Olivia Minger.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday August. 6, 2011 in Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon, MI. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery, Mendon, MI. Arrangements are entrusted to Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
