Anna Mae Hooley, 81, of Goshen, Ind., formerly of Three Rivers, died at 5 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, at Greencroft Health Care Center, Goshen, Ind. She was born on Jan. 13, 1930, in Haven, Kan., to Daniel C. and Ida (Troyer) Miller. On Sept. 27, 1947, in Shipshewana, Ind. she married Ralph E. Hooley, he died Jan. 14, 1999.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Troyer of Middlebury, Ind. and Tina (Steve) Tipton of Schoolcraft; three sons, Randy (Pam) Hooley of Centreville, Brady (Mary) Hooley of Constantine and Tony Hooley of Three Rivers; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren; sister, Dora Troyer of Goshen, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband; both parents; two grandsons, Corey and Jeremy Troyer; sister, Edna Gingerich; two brothers, Jacob and Calvin Miller. She enjoyed making crafts, gardening and helping elderly people. She had attended Moorepark Mennonite Church in Three Rivers where she taught Vacation Bible School and Sunday School.
Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main Street, Middlebury, Ind. Family and friends may gather at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12 at the funeral home to leave at 10:45 a.m. to go in procession to an 11 a.m. graveside service at Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury, Ind.
