Jerry Potter, 65

Jerry Lee Potter, 65, of Jones, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sept. 18, 2011. Jerry was born Jan. 23, 1946 in Three Rivers. The son of Jerry L. and Beverly Potter, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Surviving are four sons, Jerry and Garry Lytle of LaGrange, Ind., Tim Ludman of Dowagiac and Sheldon Ludman of Downey, Calif.; two daughters, Terri Potter of LaGrange, Ind. and Tina of California. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, his longtime girlfriend, Wava Chapman of Jones, and two sisters, Marilyn Malcom of Coldwater and Pam Hoffmann of Loveland, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and a daughter, Victoria.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to Three Rivers Health Hospice.
