Dwight Hull, 89

Dwight C. Hull, 89, of Sturgis, Mich., died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at his home.

In 2007, Mr. Hull moved from Elkhart, Ind., to Sturgis, and was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in LaGrange, Ind. He had worked as an internal auditor for The Associates of South Bend in South Bend, Ind., and had been a school teacher.

Mr. Hull was born on July 13, 1922, in Sandusky, Ohio, to Harry and Louise (Wachtman) Hull. They preceded him in death.

On Aug. 2, 1947, in Mendota, Ill., he married Grace Lydia Doermann. Mrs. Hull preceded him in death on April 22, 2010.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Stephen Becze of Howe, Ind.; and five grandsons, Martin Becze, Michael (Stephanie) Becze, Samuel Becze, Timothy Becze, and Zachary Becze.

He was also preceded in death by a son, James S. Hull in July of 2000; a brother and a sister.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 797 N. Detroit St., LaGrange, Ind., with Revs. Sandra Hutchens and Glenn Russell officiating.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Burial will be at a later date in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Plymouth, Ind.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
