Marie Kuehl-Templin, 93, formerly of Bainbridge Township, passed away early on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Sturgis Hospital in Sturgis, Mich.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Services, 249 E. Center Street, in Coloma, with Rev. Paul A. Koehneke officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores. Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of the service, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Marie was born on Aug. 13, 1918, in Pipestone Township. She was one of 13 children born to Otto and Emma Bandurske. She married August Kuehl and together had three daughters. Marie lived a majority of her life in Bainbridge Township where she helped her husband on the farm and raised her family. She will be remembered as always being a “help mate” who worked beside her husbands to make them successful. Marie was a “tailored woman” and enjoyed entertaining.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Doris (Bobbie) Null of Springfield, Tenn., Dilys Kuehl of Coloma, and Karla (Duane) Spencer of Crossville, Tenn.; sister, Esther (Don) Davino of Stevensville; and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and by her husband, Floyd Templin.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, August Kuehl; and by 11 siblings.
