Mozelle M. (Waldron)Wright, age 99, of Mendon, died Saturday Oct. 1, 2011 at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers. She was born in Porter Township on Feb. 7, 1912 the daughter of the late Hugh and Grace (Cooley) Waldron, and later attended Battle Creek schools. Mozelle was married to Duard Jack Wright on March 3, 1934 in South Bend, IN, and together they raised their family and operated a farm north-west of Mendon until Jack’s death in 1996.
Mozelle is survived by 6 children, Clair (Inge) Wright of Salinas, CA, Kenneth (Mary) Wright of Three Rivers, John (Janet) Wright of Watsonville, CA, Beverly Tulloch of Portage, Janyce (Victor)Myers of Granger, IN, and Wayne Wright of Mendon; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Marcellus Cemetery. Memorials will be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements were by the Eickhoff Funeral Home of Mendon. Condolences may be left for the family at www.eickhofffuneralhome.com
