Paul Brian Maxson, age 41, of Sturgis, Mich., passed away Saturday afternoon, Oct. 29, 2011, at his home.
He was born October 13, 1970, in Quincy, Mich., a son for Thomas and Joyce (Bisel) Maxson.
Paul had resided in Sturgis since 2004 coming from Sherwood. On Sept. 23, 2000, he married Jennifer Ludwig in Bellevue, Mich.
Paul was currently working as a home health care provider and had a lifelong career in the human service field working with individuals with disabilities. He enjoyed building, wiring, Jeeps and watching movies especially Pulp Fiction.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; five sons, Jordan Maxson of Sturgis, Jesse Maxson, Justin Maxson and Chase Maxson, all of Bronson and Spencer Maxson of White Pigeon; his mother, Joyce Lambright of Gerard and his father and step-mother, Thomas (Jill) Maxson of Golden Valley, Ariz.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes – Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-2331 where funeral services celebrating the life of Paul Maxson will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Pastor Kathy Wayman will officiate.
