David S. Peters, 53, of LaGrange, Ind., and formerly of Sturgis, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Mr. Peters lived his lifetime in LaGrange and Sturgis. He was a maintenance electrician and had worked at Atwood Products in LaGrange for 25 years and currently at Forest River in Goshen, Ind.
Mr. Peters was born March 18, 1958, in LaGrange to Eugene C. and Betty J. (Rowe) Peters.
On March 27, 1982 in Sturgis, he married Patricia J. Brown. Mrs. Peters survives in LaGrange.
Also surviving are his mother, Betty J. Peters of Sturgis; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jenny and Josh Landez, Megan Peters, and Kayla Peters, all of LaGrange; five grandchildren; a sister, Julie Nichols of Sturgis; and a brother, Mike Peters of Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Peters.
Visitation will be held 4- 8 p.m. Thursday at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James R. Bender officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange.
