Bonnie K. Green, 64, of Jones, formerly of Elkhart, Ind., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 at Three Rivers Health. She was born May 9, 1947 in Elkhart, Ind. to William R. and Clara R. (Black) Macumber Sr.
On April 5, 1968, she married Tom L. Green in Elkhart, Ind. and he survives.
Other survivors include a son, Les (Sheila Douglas) Green of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Charity Green of Vacaville, Calif.; mother, Clara R. Macumber of Edwardsburg; two brothers, William (Johanna) Macumber of Edwardsburg and Ronald (Eva) Macumber of Elkhart, Ind.; sister, Connie (Jerry) Johnson of Clermont, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kirta and Elba Green of Colorado Springs, Colo.; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William R. Macumber Sr.
Bonnie was a loving homemaker who also enjoyed fishing, knitting, crocheting, competitive shooting, caring for the farm animals and painting pictures.
The family will receive friends from noon until the 3 p.m. funeral service on Friday, Dec. 16 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, Ind. Rev. Jeff Reese of Hope United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment of her cremated remains will be held at White Pigeon Cemetery at a later date.
