David Fuller, 85

Dale Morgan Fuller, 85, died peacefully at his home on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 in the presence of his loving family.

He was born Sept. 27, 1926 in Three Rivers to Dana and Hattie (Drake) Fuller. He graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1944 and was accepted into the air force academy. Dale served in the Air Force during WWII as a B29 airplane engine mechanic and rifle expert. On Nov. 24, 1946, he married Lorraine Ann Myers. The couple recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

Dale and Lorraine (Jane) lived several years in Portage and spent the last 43 years in Three Rivers. His educational background included classes at Purdue, Michigan State and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he obtained his jet engine mechanic’s license. He retired many years ago from Armstrong Machine Works as a steam processing engineer. Previous jobs included plant supervisor at Goodwill Industries in Kalamazoo and Bell Pipe & Engineering in Three Rivers.

As a young man, he was a member of The American Legion, Three Rivers Elks Lodge 1248, and the Masonic Lodge where he served as Commander of the Knights Templar. He had a great deal of interest in electronics, mystic studies, hypnosis and was also a certified biofeedback clinician.

To explain his spiritual life, Dale was a fully conscious mystic as a result of a lifetime dedicated to meditation which provided him with a wealth of inner experiences and guidance. In 1983 he went to India searching for and finding a True Master, a Saint, someone who was the Word in the Flesh, Har Charan Singh Ji Maharaj, from whom he received the Gift of Initiation into the Word of God. After three years of meditation under the guidance of his Master he became a Master of Surat Shabd Yoga, and through the Grace of his Master, merged into the Master’s Spirit Form of the Word Aspect of God and was Taken into the Spiritual Heavens. Dale met the Dalai Lama on one of his trips to India. He also had a special spiritual experience while visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar. For 25 years, Dale has lovingly taught hundreds of individuals, as directed by his Master, from personal experience, achievement and inner wisdom. Dale wrote of his experiences in a book titled A Divine Incarnation.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine; his three sons, Steven Fuller, Daniel (Bonnie) Fuller and Matthew Fuller; daughters, Jean (Gary) Winans and Laura Fuller. His grandchildren are Jason (Sandy) Fuller, Koran Fuller, Cassidee Fuller, Tessa and Emily Winans, Rayce Fuller and Logan and Bronson Shields. Great-grandchildren include Shelby Kimble, Adrienne Jones and Asia Fuller, and great-great-grandchild, Bailea Krupinski. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Dana Fuller, Bradley Fuller, Genevieve Coney, Donald Fuller and Donis Armstrong.

Per his wishes, a funeral service will not be held. Cremation has taken place and his family will celebrate his life in private. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 25 at 10 a.m. at GilChrist Retreat Center in Three Rivers.
