Edie Holdcraft, 66

Edith Vanessa (Edie) Holdcraft, age 66 of Constantine, MI, passed away  Sunday, December 25th, 2011 at her home. She was born in Logansport, IN on January 6, 1945, to  Don and Harriett (Sinninger) Gordon. Edie graduated from Logansport High School in 1962. On November 22, 1971 Edie married William O. Holdcraft in Logansport, IN. She had worked for GTE in Logansport IN, State Farm Insurance in West Lafayette, IN, and Godfrey Mfg. in Elkhart. Edie enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. Edie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family.
Surviving are her husband William Holdcraft, Constantine; daughters Jamie (Scott) Douglas of Crawfordsville, IN; Shari (Joe)  Brown of Delphi, IN; Tish (Nick) Juday of Portage, MI; sons Joe (Marc Garcia) Sweet of Austin, TX; Mike Holdcraft of Attica, IN; grandchildren Nikki, Mike and Candy Holdcraft; Abigail and Cameron Douglas; Jalee and Jansen Brown; Jovi and Sydney Juday; and 3 great grandchildren. Sisters Judy (Jon) Settlemyre of Tucson, AZ; Diana (Jack) Stout of Brookston, IN;  brothers Steve ( Margaret) Gordon of Sturgis, MI; and Tim (Darla) Gordon of West Lafayette, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, December 31st from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Religious Services will follow at 3:00 P.M. Interment of Ashes will take place at the Pisgah Christian Church, Logansport, IN, at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Motor Neuron Disease / ALS Center at  University of Michigan.
