Linda Jean Cunningham, age 50, of Sturgis, passed away Thursday evening, Dec. 15, 2011, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born Sept. 16, 1961, in Mount Clemens, a daughter of Paul William and Patricia (June (Dean) Bellaire.
Linda had resided in Sturgis since 1979, coming from England.
For the past nine years, she had been employed at the Walmart Distribution Center in Coldwater. Prior to joining Walmart, she had work for Ames Department Store in Sturgis for several years until the store closed.
Linda enjoyed riding motorcycles and the Toy Run, and was a real fan of professional wrestling. She truly loved animals.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Scott Anway of Sturgis; a son, David (Tosha) Cunningham of Centreville; a granddaughter, Izabella Rininger of Centerville; her mother, Patricia Bellaire of Sturgis; a sister, Patricia (Clifford) Ort of Sturgis; three brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Bellaire of Sturgis, Robert Bellaire of Sturgis and James (Heather) Bellaire of Elkhart, Ind.; and three nephews, Paul, Philip and Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her father.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hackman Family Funeral Homes — Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Linda Jean Cunningham will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sturgis Wesleyan Church in Sturgis. The Rev. Steve Bean will officiate. A graveside committal of the ashes will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis following the service.
