Mattie May Diesinger, 90, of Three Rivers, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 20, 1921 in Rockford, Ill., the daughter of the late William C. Gilreath.
Mrs. Diesinger has been a resident of this area for more than 30 years. She and her husband attended the Light and Life Wesleyan Church. May enjoyed crocheting, crafting jewelry, and working in ceramics.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Dale Diesinger of Three Rivers; four sons, Thomas (Dianne) of Three Rivers, Edward (Shirley) of Vandalia, Robert of Elkhart, Ind. and Steven (Kathy) Diesinger of Meridan, Miss.; one brother, Fred Gilreath of Florida, and one sister, Grace Green of Millersburg, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Light and Life Wesleyan Church, with Pastor Samuel Maddox officiating.
