Maureen Williams, 74

Maureen E. Williams, 74, of White Pigeon, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born Jan. 22, 1937, in Detroit, a daughter of James and Mary T. (Kalso) Doody. She had been a White Pigeon resident for 12 years, coming from Sturgis.

On Dec. 20, 1956, she married Charles M. Williams in Detroit.

She had been employed by ACM Plastics and Myrtle House, both of Sturgis.

She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church of Sturgis. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Charles M. Williams of White Pigeon; two daughters, Theresa (Glenn) McKee and Donna (Alan) Kershner, and a son, Herb (Debbie) Williams, all of White Pigeon; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Williams; and two sisters.

Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, where services will take place at 2 p.m.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family or to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
