Four Arrested For Meth

The Sturgis Department of Public Safety took four Sturgis residents into custody after raiding a house where production of methamphetamine was allegedly taking place.

The four people arrested range in age from 18 to 57.

Police said they executed a search warrant around 4 p.m. Wednesday at a residence in the 400 block of Walker Street. Arrested were: a 57-year-old man, charged with maintaining a drug house; a 22-year-old man and 18-year-old woman, charged with frequenting a drug house; and a 20-year-old man, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth and maintaining a drug house.

The 22-year-old man also was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear.

Identities of those charged will be released after their arraignments.
