Jesse J. Kline, age 86, of Three Rivers, went to be with his Lord on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Borgess Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Jan. 25, 1926 in Three Rivers, MI. the son of Jesse C. and Lillian A. (Tesman) Kline.
On Oct. 30, 1955 he married the love of his life, Betty Lou Correll in Three Rivers, where they made their home and raised three children. Jesse was employed at Michigan Milk Producers for over 42 years where he eventually retired and from there worked at Pioneer for almost 10 years.
Mr. Kline and his wife Betty were life members of the Center Park United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He served on the board of trustees for the Park Community School Board and Park Community Boy Scout Committee. His true love and passions were his family, gardening, farming with his son Doug, feeding and watching birds and sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving family, wife, Betty (Correll) Kline, of Three Rivers; two sons, Dennis L. Kline, of Fremont, MI., and Douglas C. (Marie) Kline, of Three Rivers; daughter, Vikki Kline of Three Rivers; granddaughter, Meghan L. (fiancé,Dan Tuls) Kline, of Chicago, IL.; brother, Charles G. Kline, of Three Rivers; nephews, Tom (Pat) Kline and Bill (Colleen) Kline, both of Three Rivers; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor Marty Culver of the Center Park United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be held in the Riverside Cemetery.
