An annual art show in White Pigeon will have a new name and location later this year.
After three years at Wade Park, the Art in the Park event will take place at Klinger Lake Country Club for a one-day show June 10. Newly named Art on the Green, the showcase of 20 to 25 high-end artists is a move that event organizer Shireen Cline hopes will attract a supportive crowd.
Cline said community support and a need for stronger electrical outlets were two detriments to staging the event at Wade Park.
The move will also mean less advance work for Cline and allow guests to enjoy wine and a higher-end atmosphere.
Invitations to prospective artists were sent out this week, Cline said.
