Penelope L. Krebs, 61, of White Pigeon, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at her home.
She was born Oct. 18, 1950, in Sturgis, a daughter of Buster and Jacquelyn (Todley) Brown.
On Aug. 25, 1973, she married Robert H. Krebs in White Pigeon.
She was a member of the Sturgis High School class of 1969 and a homemaker and resident of the White Pigeon and Sturgis area all her life. She was a member of the Chapter #210 Order of the Eastern Star of Three Rivers and enjoyed bird watching, reading and crocheting.
Surviving are her husband, Robert H. Krebs of White Pigeon; a daughter, Laura E. Krebs of Sturgis; two sons, Bryan (Candi) Krebs of White Pigeon and Bruce Krebs of Sturgis; three grandchildren; a sister, Laura Boothe of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, Brad Brown of Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Tim Brown, on Jan. 12, 2003.
Relative and friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, where services will be at 7 p.m. by the Chapter #210 Order of the Eastern Star of Three Rivers. Internment will take place in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
Donations may be directed to the Chapter #210 Order of the Easter Star or the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
