Thurman Caldwell, 71, of Constantine, died Feb. 12, 2012 at his home.
Thurman was born Aug. 30, 1940, to Virgil Caldwell and Dovie (Staley)(Caldwell)(Sias)(Walker).
He later married Eva Caldwell (Hyatt) around the age of 19. He was married to Eva until she passed away Jan. 22, 2011.
Thurman is survived by two sons, David Caldwell of Sturgis and Darcy Caldwell of Niles; and two daughters, Lisa Caldwell of North Carolina and Christine Certain of Florida.
His only surviving siblings are sisters Narmie Mae Caldwell (Griffith) of Huntington, W.Va., and Charlotte Gay (Sias)(Medaniel) of West Virginia. Thurman has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews surviving.
Thurman is preceded in death by his loving wife, Eva Cadwell, in 2011; his parents; a sister, Myra Caldwell in 1943; and three brothers, Martin Caldwell in 2004, L.D. Caldwell in 2006 and Kenon Caldwell in 2010.
There will be no services at this time. Burial will be held at a later date.
Carney-Forst Funeral Home is taking charge of arrangements.
