| Charles C. Monroe, 74, died in Three Rivers on March 17, 2012. He was born on Oct. 13, 1937 in Three Rivers, MI. the son of Dwight and Dorothy (Youells) Monroe. He had been a resident of Houston, Texas for the last 41 years, where he worked and retired from the Cameron Iron Works Company as a Quality Control Technician. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dwight and John Monroe, and one great grandson, Austin Bruski. He leaves to cherish his loving memory; two children, Douglas(Cindy Dale)Monroe of Wautoma, WI, and Joy(Glenn)Wegner, of Three Rivers, MI.; two sisters, Nancy Gottschalk, of Three Rivers and Linda Fostich, of Cassopolis; one brother, Frank (June) Monroe, of Jacksonville, FL.; six grandchildren, Jessica (Aaron) Bruski, Andrew Monroe, Heidi Monroe, Carolle Wegner, Allison (Steve) Ade, and Stephanie Balog; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. |

Memorials may be given to the Pilgrim Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1005, Wautoma, WI 54982, where his son, Doug pastors.
The family of Charles C. Monroe will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Douglas Monroe officiating. |
