Dale Bennett Weitting, age 87, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on March 4, 2012, at Friendship Village Health Center in Kalamazoo and under the care of Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1925, in Leonidas, to Arnold and Gertrude (Bennett) Weitting. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and sister June Weitting.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjy; a daughter Marcia and her husband Richard Tangwall; a son Douglas and his wife Karen Weitting; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Bible Church, 855 South Drake Rd., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday.
